The USCA
The USCA consist of two conferences, the Liberty (West) Conference and the Freedom (East) Conference. Each conference has two separate divisions (Northern and Southern). Each division has five teams in it. The regular season has a total of 52 games. Each team plays 32 games against their own division (8 games per team, 4 home 4 away). And 20 games against the teams in the other division within their conference (4 per team, 2 home 2 away). There is no inter-conference games until the Patriot Cup. For the playoffs, the two teams that win their respective divisions make it to the playoffs. Home Field goes to the team with the best records. The conference finals consist of a 7 game series. The winners of the Conference finals move on to the Patriot cup, which is also a 7 game series.

Chairball the Game.
Overview:
Chairball is newly created sport by me and a few of my friends in my apartment. Chairball is a team sport that consists of rolling chairs, goals, and a kickball. Two teams face off with six players a piece, one center, two flankers, and three defense men (no goalies). For the purpose of this concept, the game is played on a 45 yards long, 25 yards wide, wood court surrounded by boards (like hockey). The courts lines are drawn up much like a hockey rink. There’s a mid-court line, and two offside lines. Each of the zones (offensive and neutral) are 15 yards long. The goals are located at the end of each offensive zone. The goals sit up against the boards so there is no space between the goal and the boards. Also the goal is the same size as a hockey goal. Chairball has three periods of 15 minutes each, with a 5 minute intermission between each period. You score a goal by kick/kneeing/heading/bumping (with chest or using the chair to advance the ball into the goal. The team with the most goals at the end of the three periods wins. If tied there is a 10 minute sudden death overtime period, if no one scores in the overtime period then the game ends as a tie. The standing system works pretty much like hockey. Just with different point values. A win= 2 points, a loss= 0 points and a tie= 1 point.
Rules
Players: Teams of Six. 1 center, 2 flankers, 3 defensemen.
Maneuvering: Each player has their own chair, and is allowed to move throughout the court (where their position allows). The chairs are used for maneuvering/blocking/shielding. There is minimal bumping (checking) into other players. Players are allowed to kick, knee, head, bump (with chest) and use the chair to advance the ball. Players are not permitted to use their hands to contact the ball for any reason. If they do, play is stopped and the other team receives the ball where contact was made.
Penalties
Use of hands= play is stopped and the other team receives the ball where contact was made.
Roughing (checking, pushing, etc.), Interference (like the NHL penalty), un-sports man like conduct, and boarding= 2 minute penalty.
Offside= play is stopped and the other team receives the ball at the offside line.
Icing= play is stopped and the other team receives the ball at the back line.
